I decided to make an "Official Verbatim Dual Layer DVD Thread" so we can all post up deals whenever they are offered for the BEST dual layer disc out there since they are so expensive.
So let me start this off, there is a special on Verbatim DL at Office Max for a 10 pack for $19.99. If you go to the website it says only 1 per customer but if you go to the store you can buy as many as you want. I just came home with 7 packs, thats 70 discs for $140 ($2 per disc).

I will be headed to Office Max to pick up some of these, thanks!
To add to this thread Walmart still has these at $11.88 for a 3/pack. -
If you have OfficeMax coupons like I did ($10 off $30), it gets even cheaper. Especially if you have multiple stores around you, and can use more than one coupon.
I don't know how or why I get Office Max, Office Depot or Best Buy coupons mailed to my home, but they sure come in handy!Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

FYI, the Verbatim +R DL are available every day at Sams Club - $77 for a pack of 30: around $2.56 each + tax. If you couldn't get the $2 per disc deal at Office Max, you can easily get them at Sams Club.

10-pack available at Best Buy for 19.99 ($2 per disc)
Limit 2 per customer on-line, not sure about how many can be purchased at the store.

Don't be fooled by the Staples sale this week on the DVD+R DL Kit. They are selling these 10 packs for $19 yet it only has one DVD+R DL, plus 8 DVD+R, and 1 DVD+RW. They are advertising it locally as a Dual Layer sale, yet you can buy a three pack of Verbatim DVD+R DL discs for $15 which actually a better deal and that's an everyday price not a sale.

Hey, does the OM circular say if there's a limit for instore buys? The website says 1 for buys from there.

Our Office Max has a sign saying limit 1 per customer. Although I suppose like all good sales you could enter the store, buy one, leave, re-enter the store, buy another one, leave, and continue repeating the process until you achieve your goal.

Are these Mitsubishi MCC? Who actually manufacturers these discs? CMC? I usually use Fuji or Maxell MIJ.
-
Verbatim discs, coded MKM (Mitsubishi Kagei Media), made in Singapore at the main Verbatim/MCC plant.
