    Just bought the CH-DVD 300 and was plesantly surprised to find that it will shuffle play MP3 discs, even MP3 DVD discs, although there is no mention of it in the operation guide or their website.

    Also found that it will display ID3 tag info. The problem is that it displays the ID3 tag info very erratically. In fact, most of the time, it only displays the file name. Is there some way to set the mode where it always displays the ID3 tag info properly? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Could it be something with ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags?

    Thanks for the reply. Problem solved. You're right, it only likes 3v1 tags. Most of my selections were 3v2. Transferred 3v2 info to 3v1, reburned, and now it works great.

    This is really a neat little player for the size and price.
