mp4 (nero) video file to vcd

i have an mp4 nero digital video file and i want to convert it to vcd mpeg ..i usually use tmpgenc plus to convert my videos but it wont except the mp4 file

i have adjust the direct media for xvid and avi files and it works great for them

would any body know how i can convert this video or of another that can

XviD and avi files? What container were the XviD videos in? Not mp4 I guess.

mp4 works fine here with TMPGEnc, AVC and MPEG-4. TMPGEnc's dshow input doesn't work that well though, for instance when using ffdshow to decode I had to limit it to RGB24 output. The mp4 splitter used could also have some impact.
