Hi, I'm creating a dvd slideshow with ulead video studio 9. I burn the disc by going to create disc. When I play the DVD, the images come out blurry and don't look good. Does anyone know how to fix this or make the pictures come out more clear.

    Thanks for your reply.

3072 x 2048. That seems to be the dimensions for all of them.

try resizing them smaller before importing into VS9, don't know if that's going to help but it might. I don't have VS( so I don't know it's peculuraities. Genersally you want to prepare the images before you import them into a video editor.

If you're going to be using them as static images resizing them to the dimensions of the video may help.

Are you viewing then on the PC of the TV. Photos seem to never look as "Sharp" as the original high rez source images. They are usually resized to 720x480 for NTSC and or PAL ( don't remember exact rez ) Then they are enlarged to fill hte screen and so they look worse than the originals.

Thanks for your help. I found a fix. Seems to be just VS9 not wanting to display them as good as they can.

I used ProShow Producer (http://www.photodex.com) to create the image slideshow, exported to mpg and imported that into VS9 where I finished the project with menus etc and the images come out clear now. Very fast , easy to use, and produces very good quality (ProShow Producer). I recommend that to anyone making a slideshow.
