Try dropping them into VirtualDub or my preferred version VirtualDubMod and check for errors. You can also see the attributes of the file under 'File Information'.

It doesn't appear to be a codec problem, that's probably a reason Baldrick suggested trying VLC. But it may be low bitrate or errors in the file.

probebly to low bitrate (virtualdub: 1059 data rate (0.45 % overhead))

So..... nothing to do about that then , o... well...

    Thanks Dagger

sounds more like corruption than just bitrate. Can you capture and post an image of said blocks ?

That is caused by either corruption of the source xvid (most likely), or by issues with the codec being used to play it back (less likely). It is not caused by having too low a bitrate.

Are you using the xvid codec, or something like FFDShow ?

Have you defragged your HDD lately ?

Have you scanned your drive for errors ?

  11. Did you play your file from a CD-R ??? If yes, try copy them to your hard disk or check your cd-r for error with Nero cd/Dvd Speed or DvdInfoPro

Do episodes from other seasons have the same prob? Other Xvids?
Maybe you'll have to uninstall all those packs you've instaled. They are nothing but trouble. All you need is ffdshow and the XviD codec that comes with AutoGK.

Not Koepi's! Use the the version bundled with AutoGK.
