I have a very big mpeg file that is ready to burn to DVD. I have NERO but can't find an option to burn it to a DVD. Anyone know how to easily convert this to DVD format with a freeware out there? I used TMPEG to get to to the proper MPG format but nero won't burn it for some reason so I am looking for something else that might work....THANKS!

  2. The "Tools" page (on the left) has several authoring programs listed, some of them freeware. Take your pick.

TMPGenc DVD Author (commercial, 30 day free trial)
    DVDAuthorGUI (free)
    GUI for DVDAuthor (free)
    DVD-Lab (commercial)

    ...to mention a few options.
If your mpg is too big for one DVD, go back and reencode your source at a lower bitrate to make it fit (use a bitrate calculator!), or just go ahead and author to HDD, then use DVDShrink to squeeze it down to size.
