I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this with winAVI 7.1 before. When converting 1 or 2 avi or mpg files into dvd format and saving them to the hard drive to be burned later, sometimes the program will split the dvd into two or three folders labeled dvd_0, dvd_1 and so on. In the advanced options, I have selected a constant video size of 4300 MB, number of discs being 1. Now, these avi or mpg files are usually only 500-1200 MB in size to begin with and this problem does not occur every single time. I find that if I do a batch convert, 4 times out of 5 the split will occur. Yet when I do 1 or 2 files by themselves, it'll only happen 1 out of 4 times. One time the movie will be split into 2 folders and I delete them and try again, and the next time the movie is just in one folder. Also to note, the folders containing the video and audio files are not maxed out at 4300 MB. The first folder may only be 2 GB and the second one 1.2 GB. I am just trying to figure out why the program will create 2 or 3 folders...essentially 2 or 3 movies...out of 1. Does this make sense or am I confusing anyone? If this problem cannot be corrected, is there an easy way to take these folders and merge them into one allowing me to make it back into 1 dvd movie to be burned?

I do use other programs such as DIKO, TheFilmMachine, Nero Vision etc but the movies files I'm not overly concerned with for quality etc, I let winAVI do the trick just because of the speed of the conversion is better suited because of this.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
