Hello, what's wrong with this picture?
The .mpa audio file plays good on a Windows Media Player!
Even when I tried to mux them using ImagoMPEG, it again complained about this same .mpa file!
Original Avi file is NTSC 23.976fps, PCM audio, 48kHz

    C:\>"F:\DVD2SVCD\DVDAuthor\mplex.exe" -f 8 -o "F:\DVD2SVCD\Movie\MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg" "F:\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Encoded_Video_TMPGEnc_NTSC. mpv" "F:\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Encoded_audio_1.mpa"
    INFO: [???] mplex version 2.0.0 (dvd2svcd modified) (2.2.3 $Date: 2004/01/13 20:45:26 $)
INFO: [???] File F:\DVD2SVCD\Movie.Napoleon\Encoded_Video_TMPGEnc_N TSC.mpv looks like an MPEG Video stream.
    **ERROR: [???] File unrecogniseable!
    **ERROR: [???] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

    Thanks.

I don't use dvd2svcd, but they do have their own forums for troubleshooting.

For whatever reason, the file appears to be corrupt or not in a format that it is expecting.

Try opening the file in a dedicated audio program such as Goldwave, then converting and saving into a different format (or even the same format).

    IIRC, SVCD's audio is

    44100 Hz
    32 - 384 kbit/sec MPEG-1 Layer2 or MPEG2 Audio
with up to 2 Audio Tracks
So your MPA is NOT in the right format!
