When you get "repairs" at Nintendo; they just send you a rerurbished system. Their refurbs are really good though. Probably much cheaper than buying a new or used system anywhere else.

Or if you can wait you could just wait for the Revolution, but Zelda is coming soon. Suposedly the Revolution will play all of the Gamecube games. And it also has ports for four Gamecube controllers.

I had my NES "repaired". They cleaned all of my cartridges and I got a working NES with the door on the front.

Call their number and find out how much it costs. Also they have a one year warranty that they are fairly flexible with.

They really wanna keep you playing and keep you buying games.

I am suprised the other console makers don't have the same outlook.

Also they will most likely want you to send in your controllers and most likely they will "repair" the controllers by sending you new ones.
    snappy phrase

    I don't know what you're talking about.

Sounds like something might be wrong with the power supply or mobo
here is a place you can buy a guide but after you buy the guide and parts it would probably be cheaper to buy a new one

    http://www.ultimateconsoleguides.com/gamecube.htm

I have never worked on gamecubes but I have worked on tons of ps2s and xboxes

Most of the time its cheaper to just get a new ps2 now for people to have me work on it an pay for parts to fix it but the xbox repair business is going well (in spirts)
