    I'd like to us Premiere Elements 2.0 to remove the commercials from TV shows that I've recorded on a dvd. I would appreciate any help to do this as I am a newbie to elements. An online guide would be great too.

    I don't know anything about premier elements, does it edit Mpeg2?

    What I would do is rip the DVD to my hard drive and edit with VideoRedo it's made for MPEG-2 video. Take a look over on your left at the guide section.
