I have a WMV9 clip that looks like it's interlaced. I've never seen a WMV interlaced. I can deinterlace anything in Virtualdub except WMV (VDub doesn't support WMV). Anyway to deinterlace WMV?

WMV often is just AVI in disguise. Use STOIK Video Converter on it and see if you can turn it into an AVI file that VDub can read

  3. I've seen something like that after remuxing the WMV to MKV using Graphedit. (TMPGEnc seems to have less trouble dealing with it this way)

The resulting file showed a framerate that was double that of the original file, but there was no field shift as in interlaced material.

Is that just the way WMV9 works?
