  1. I don't have much information only what I can remember from about 15 years ago.

The only part I remember, there was a man that was about to get executed in a town square. I think there were other prisoners as well, just before it was his turn he ran over to his crying mother and handed her his shoes.

I think the movie may have been set in the 1960s or 70s this is a guess.

    Any ideas thanks.

  3. I'm beginning to think that was most likely before the 1960s or 70s may be around the depression.

There really isn't much I can remember about the characters over their faces, I do remember that most of the people watching the execution were cheering.

  4. One last thing this all happened at the end of the movie, I'm pretty sure.

Grapes of Wrath? Stab in the dark, not read that book or seen the movie in at least 10 years now. Right timeframe, though, I think.

  6. Unfortunately I must admit I've never seen the grapes of wrath, I googled the movie to see if there was any parts close to what I described above and I can't seem to find anything.

  7. No it can't be Grapes of Wrath. No execution in that story (I'm a big Steinbeck fan)
