I just picked up a Allegro ABV511 combination DVD and VHS player at Circuit City. I want to get it to work with my Compaq P1610 24" monitor. The player has RCA jack outputs, including a group of 3, which are red, green and blue. The monitor has 5 BNC inputs, including a group of 3, which are red, green and blue.

What I'm wondering is if I just get 3 RCA-->BNC adaptors, can I just hook the player up to my monitor, or will I need some sort of extra interface?

The monitor will probably be expecting RGB input. While a lot of european kit produces RGB output, most US and asian kit does not. You should confirm if the component out of your player is RGB before hooking them up.
