episodes not showing on tmg

hi i got the complete first season of x files on my hard disk but not able to get it onto a dvd. everytime i go to tmg author, the file is not visible on the open menu. but when i manually load it, it says illegal file, cannot open. can anyonehelp me
moreover, i got the file dowwnloaded from the net from bit torrent. i think its a mpeg file but not usre wat file it is. heo do i know wat file ext it is and how do i convert it so that i can use it i tmp author.. plz help...i really want to on my dvd

Where to start ?

a. Read the rules and don't discuss warez or downloaded copyright material. It will get you banned.

b. Type legibly, and where possible use correct spelling. English may not be your first language, but this is an English language board

c. As a fan of the X Files, I encourage you to buy the DVDs, not download the episodes.

Anything else you need can be found by searching the boards or the guides. No-one is going to offer any assistence while you so obviously break the rules.

c dude. ur words hurt people. read up wat u said. right, my eng may not b that good, but that doesnt mean poeple should make fun of it. as well for the episodes, as i informed about this earlier, im totally new t all this and u should give me some credit rather than being sarcastic and rude. if i boke the rules, u shoul d tell me politely and i woul ahve definitely obey but being sarcy, u made me have a negative impression about u and this site...if i did something wrong tell me, i think i deserve a little respect just like the real people in ur life whom u love or loved. we all have a heart and we all expect a kind of love in return, maynot b love, at least respect. we earned it. anyway. im sorry for my dumb post, amybe i should first read about dvds and stuffs b4 i post anything. im sorry
