I have a few seasons of tv shows as .avi files, I want to put them on dvd to watch on a dvd player, but I'm not sure what program to use or what to do. I looked at the guide, but the link is broken. Can any of you guys help?

    Thanks for any help.

What guide ? There are a lot of them, and most of the links work.

Simple - DivxtoDVD. Free version is fine. Select all avis together and encode. No menu created. Use TDA to create simple menu

Complex - encode each episode seperately having used a bitrate calculator to work out the correct bitrate per episode. Author in an authoring program, creating menus etc.

The difference between the two processes - complex takes 3 - 4 times longer and more effort, but produces (usually) much better results. It is up to you how much effort you want to put in. Given you stopped looking after the first guide you found wasn't there, simple is probably your speed.

Use TMPGENC Plus to encode to MPEG-2.
Author to DVD with TMPGENC DVD Author.

    Joy.
