  1. what's the precedure for DVD players [standalone. hooked to the TV] that support DivX? I don't need to convert it to DVD [vob]. But my file has 2 audio streams and a subtitle stream, is it possible for the DVD player to recognize the AVI and the subtitles and the 2 audio streams?

avi? Thought that you wanted to convert to .divx? Depends on the player whether it supports external subs and or multiple audio streams. I'd suggest that you burn a sample and test.

Mostly, Divx is encoded in an AVI container. The .divx extension is not required as .avi is usually sufficient.
