  1. I tried using VOB2MPg to convert a VOB file to MPEG. This worked but I lost the audio, what didnt I do

I'm getting a hitachi DVD camera, which will be recording in a VRO format?

I will need to remove some video I shoot and send it on in a AVI or MOV format (to a golf instructor)

    Thanks for the help

I believe the audio has to be demuxed separately.

Do you need to demux the audio separately and then multiplex it back in to get an mpg file that has audio? I thought VOB2MPG was supposed to get me a usable mpg file.

Nup, audio has not needed to be demuxed seperately in my experiences using it. Might it be something to do with that you can't multiplex PCM WAV audio with MPEG files ?

Load the VOB into the latest GSpot Beta (2.52) to see what audio you have.
    If in doubt, Google it.
