I guess this is a pretty straightforward matter if you're an expert - but unfortunately I'm not! I am producing DVD's of TV broadcasts obtained via Sky+ and a DVD writer. I'm transferring the data from the latter to my PC hard drive by means of a DVD-RAM disc, editing out unwanted bits such as the ads using MPEG-VCR, and producing the final DVD with TMPGEncDVD Author. Having done my editing, I am finishing up with a single chapter/seamless disc of maybe 90 minutes playing time. How exactly do I divide the final DVD up into chapters of say 5 - 10 minutes each to facilitate navigation during playback, and with which software application? I've read some of the excellent guides on this forum, but I haven't found anything yet that seems to address this particular issue.

TMPGenc DVD Author has a chapter creation feature. when you add the file/s you go to Chapter Cut Edit. then you get a choice by clicking ADD at bottom right
