  1. Hi,

I used DVDFab Platinum (Gold Mode) v 2.9.1.0 to create a copy of a DVD on hard disk. Then I used TMPGEnc DVD Author v 1.6.26.73 to write new DVD. I tested the new DVD on two computers and it works fine. But when I try to play the DVD using the Panasonic DVD player, I notice that after the DVD starts playing, on the TV, I see small squares on the TV screen appear and disappear at times and then sometimes the DVD seems to get frozen for a fraction of a second as it is playing. This happens while movie is playing. I am confused as why this is happening when I try view the DVD on TV using Panasonic DVD player but not when playing the same DVD on computers.

When I view the original DVD on TV using the same Panasonic DVD player, it works just fine. So I was thinking that may be my Panasonic DVD player is fine but something may be wrong with the way I create DVD copies or settings

    Can someone help me, please.

    Thanks

    Joe

Probably the media, try some different discs. Look to the left under DVD Media.

  3. I have been using only Memorex DVD+R 16x and Panasonic RV31 player. Do you think I should use DVDs from some other company? If so, can you suggest any other brand? I checked the DVD Media on this site. Do you think using DVD from another company or of speed with stop the bad square spots?

I burnt these DVD at maximum speed of 12x and 16x. Do you think this could be the reason? Is there any thing like best speed for burning to minimize things like bad spots?

    Thanks,

  4. look to the left column and click on dvd media. Read up on that. People have posted the good and bad so then you can decide yourself which you believe is the best.
