quicktime MOV to PSP/MP4 ?

Does anybody know of a good program to do this? or even a program that CAN convert MOV to PSP compatible MP4?

I've tried PSP Video 9, Rapiz, and 3GP, all with no luck...

Vegas 6C ships with the ability to output to the PSP. The demo might be worth a look - although it is an expensive way to convert video in the long run.

Or convert the mov to avi (check under Tools and select mov to under convert) and use psp video 9, super

SUPER doesnt seem to work. It stops at 1% just like the other programs.

The video plays perfectly fine in QuickTime. I have QuickTime 7

How about a program that could take the MOV and convert it to AVI, then i could use the AVI to make MP4?? I would probably use uncompressed AVI to prevent further quality loss.

Try Rad Video Tools - I've had great success converting MOV to AVI with it. If you want lossless, you could use Huffyuv for compression.

Never owned a Mac in my life. Closest I got was an Apple IIe way back then.

What streams are in the mov? Most of the free PSP/mp4 converters are ffmpeg based and it can handle the quicktime container, but not all possible streams.

check out 3GP Converter 2006 it uses the QuickTime Api to make the conversions and handles MOV files really well.
