Ok, this is pissing me off. Is there a way to keep MPC from launching those bullshit hyperlinks that are embeded in some downloaded video files? WMP used to do this html script processing junk, but I found a registry tweak that disables it. I can't find anything for MPC.

That's doesn't tell me shit. I said I already know that registry tweak. It's for WMP. The problem is occuring with Media Player Classic when playing MOV files.

I was under the impression that MPC was based upon WMP v6.4.
And I assumed that since MPC is very similar to WMP, that the keys in question would be duplicated in the registry, thus easy to find and change.

    Sorry for trying to help.

FYI: One fix that I was able to find stated to change IE from your default browser, as the scripts call upon IE to open.

I also found a page describing how to remove the scripts from the files (assuming you are playing them from your HD).
