Okay, I got a Pioneer 220 last night and after some stress got it hooked up. I'm really happy with the recording I made of regular TV.

Question - what is the best way to tape from the VCR to the DVD recorder?

I have the cable coming into my house into the DVD recorder, from the DVD-recorder to the VCR, then from the VCR to the TV. I have RCA going out from the DVD recorder to the TV-In, and from the VCR-out to the TV-In. Should I just run the RCA from the VCR out to the DVD recorder-in?

    Confusing...

  2. Yes, connect the composite (or s-video if you have it) output from the VCR to a corresponding input on the DVD recorder. You'll need to connect the audio too, of course.
