    Recently I have captured 1 tape from my digital camcorder into DV format and I ended up with 17Gb for only 1 tape.
    The problems that I want to know are the following :
    1. How is the easiest way to make it 4.7Gb, the capacity of a DVD. What's the best software to convert into 4.7Gb
    2. How is the easiest way to transform the future 4.7Gb movie into a DVD. - What software is the best and also the easiest one.
    3. I have Ulead Video 9 and I want to add some effects to the movie. When should I add effect to the movie, when the movie is 17Gb or when the movie is 4.7Gb or after I transform it into DVD?

    Sorry for this, but I am new in DVD's and I receintly bought on external DVD Writter for my notebook and I want to make the tapes into DVD's.

    I would much appreciate any help but please explain to me step by step if possible because I want to learn well.
