Demuxing with DVD Decryptor

I just decrypted and demuxed a DVD with DVD Decryptor and was trying to use bbmpg to multiplex it into an mpeg file that I could edit. However, once DVD Decryptor finishes demuxing the DVD, it gives me 4 .mv2 files and only one audio file. bbmpg let me multiplex the first .mv2 file with the existing audio stream, but what do I do with the other .mv2 files (the first one was only about 30 minutes of the movie)? I get some sort of error when I try to multiplex the second .mv2 file with the sole audio stream?

I hope this makes sense to somebody, because I am way new at this.

Try setting file splitting to none. That should give you one video file and one audio file.

I tried that, but the file system on my hard drive won't allow files larger than 4.00 GB (FAT 32), which means that when DVD Decrypter gets about 68% of the way through the Decrypting/Demuxing effort, it gives me an error saying that the disk is out of space (even though my HD drive has 80 GB free).

If you (or anyone) knows a way around the 4.00 GB file size limit, I'm all ears.

That's a prob... If space and OS allows, might want to consider a ntfs partition. Otherwise, in my experience editing anything over 2 gig in fat is iffy.

One possible work-a-round might be to get the vobs on your hd, then use DGIndex to demux the audio, create a project file for the video. & then use either VFAPI or AviSynth to work with the original vobs thru the project file as if you had loaded one large avi file. Prob. there is your output is still going to have to be 2 gig or less, though V/Dub will give you a sequential set of avi files at 2 gig each.

Or, if you don't want or need to edit the original mpg2, work with the original DVD layout, vobs, etc...

You may have answered your own question, I think FAT 32 allows up to 4Gb
in total, you my need to install NTFS as used by W2K or XP
