  1. What is another all around dvd burning program besides Nero?
I hate Nero, it's only goog for basic burning.
    I need something that works.
    Thanks.

Nero is fine for doing a lot of things, but if you're looking to burn DVD-Video you should be using ImgTools Classic & DVDDecrypter.

  3. Basically, I'm trying to burn multiple "movies" to 1 dvd.
    Each is about 1.3 gig.

  6. These are VOB files. TMPGEnc doesn't seem to work on this.

  7. TMPG DVD Author is a program for DVD construction and can import multiple parts of DVD's to create a complation.

TMPGenc is an encoding program and does not create DVD files.

  8. You can use DVDShrink in re-author mode to select video files from multiple folders on your hard disk to be included in your final dvd. If you let DVDShrink output to a file folder, then you can burn with whatever program you prefer. I use Roxio's EMC7.1 to burn media and find it to be 100% reliable on my system.

    Not a problem.

The DVDshrink way I'd forgotten about. I use TMPG DVD author for just this type of job.
DVDshrink should work just as well.
