    I'm looking for DVD player. I want it to play .mp3 files. I was considering the Pioneer 444, but it lacks a decent readout to display what is playing. It's lcd display limits you to 8 characters.

    I also want the player to be able to read vcd, from cdr/cdrw. Any suggestions appreciated!

    I have a Pioneer 343 and I just love the hell out of it. You will find it is also one of the highest rated Players on this site also.

    IF you want a non-nonsense player get the Apex AD-1500. If you want a little more bango for your buck then get a Pioneer 333 or 434.
