2 Problems w/ media or dvd player

Ok, here it is: I have 2 (cheap) dvd players - one is a coby 224 and the other is a koss 305 (not 305a). The Koss wont play my Memorex 8x +R's and it freezes (at any point) with TY 8x -R's. The Coby will play the Memorex but not the TYs. I have an Optorite 1205 burner and I use Nero to burn. I'm wondering if my media was bad or if my burners are just plain junk?? Both the Memorex and TY's play perfect in my sister's old GE dvd player. I also have been reading that DVD Decrypter is much better to burn with??

If the discs are playing in any machine...then your discs are good.

Not all brands/types of media work in all players. It is just a matter of trial and error to find a media that works in all of your players.

Try looking up your players in the DVD Players section and see what media others have had success using.
