    I recently recorded on a Sony DVD-RW on my Panny DMR-ES20. Prior to recording - I formated the DVD (really the machine did it automatically).....when done recording, I attempted to finalize it. It just sat there, on finalize for 60 minutes - NOTHING!

    I have successfully finalized DVD-R's with no problem.

    Any ideas? Help? Suggestions?

    Could have been a glitch of some sort or disc issue. Try another disc and see what happens.
