struggling with this...(FLV stuff)

If you go to worldclassmusician dot com, you can see that I've taken this artist's demo DVD and converted it to flash video (FLV).

The project was done in Vegas 5.0; the original timeline was encoded to m2v and ac3 for the DVD. I still have the project file.

The way I created what you see was this: I encoded the stuff on the timeline to NTSC DV AVI (720x480, 29.97fps, etc) using Vegas's encoder.

I then imported the video into Sorenson and used the 512k preset (sorenson spark pro) to create what you see. My question is if the presets are the best settings or if there are any tricks to get better looking video using less bandwidth?
