  1. Hey,

I have an Xvid MPEG-4 video file with 6ch AC3 sound which I want to convert to 2ch stereo MP3 sound so that my stationary DVD-player can play the video.

The video file in question has the following audio: 48k 6ch AC-3 ACM Codec 384kbps (1.23% overhead), 83942 chunks (0.50s preload).

I try doing this using Virtualdub 1.6.11 and the Lame MP3 encoder codec and the conversion seems to work (I get no error messages) but no matter what I do the audio starts several seconds before the video (from the beginning)! I have tried different bitrates, mono, ABR/VBR, extracting to WAV first etc but I get the same error!

    Can anyone please help me?

  2. Hi-

Have you tried adjusting the delay so the audio starts later?
