    been trying to get this file to play on my stand alone player...can non decrypted players play ?

    Been trying to play the movie Mr and mrs smith on stand alone dvd player. i have all the necessary files, but when i burned them to dvd..it wont play on dvd player...it only play on computer, Am i missing an important step here?

    These are my files:
    VIDEO_TS
    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VTS_01_0
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_1
    VTS_01_2
    VTS_01_3
    VTS_01_4

    am i missing something here?

    How did you backup the dvd? What tools did you use?

    You are missing IFO files. Make a copy of the .BUP and rename it to .IFO

    video_ts and vts_01_0 are ifo files..they said they are..they just dont have the .ifo extension on it...

    You really should take the training wheels off Windows XP and have it stop hiding file extensions for known file types.

  7. I second waheed's question. What tools did you use to rip and shrink your original DVD? What steps did you follow? Figuring out what went wrong with your procedure can mean not making the same mistake over again.

    i downloaded the the movie.....and i think it doesnt work cuz its in pal form...how u make itgo back to ntsc form? wuts the easiet way?
