  1. When making text on dvd menus are we suppose to use antialiasing or not? I have reviewed several topics dealing with this subject and I have read members suggest not to use antialiasing and some say to use it. I have a tendency to use text for my dvd buttons and some turn out alright and others dont.

I always use anti-aliasing, but then I always prepare my menus (stills) in photoshop first. I do find, however, that playback using a software player on the PC always looks jagged around the subpictures compared to playback on a TV.

More resolution means errors become more obvious. This is why I'm no fan of HD tech, makes older material look like crap.
