I tried to rip a dual dvd with cloneDVD, shrink, dvd dycrypter, and dvdfab dycrypter and all of these progrms all proudce multipe files of VTS files. I have VTS_01_xx.XXX all the way to VTS_10_xx.XXX with some .VOB files such as VTS_01_1..VOB containing only 10KB that when play has nothing in it. Is this normal? If I burn all of these files which is in the Video_TS folder then the dvd is not playable in a set top box DVD player. However, if I use ifoedit to create new ifo files of those .vob files that the size is more than 1GB then the dvd will work in my set top box dvd player. Any idea why and how do I resolve this problem? Help is appreciated.

Yes, it is normal. VTS stands for Video TitleSet. Each titleset gets it's own number, so you have multiple titlesets. A titleset might not contain any audio or video, but just commands or dummy links, so you won't see anything on playing it back in isolation. A VOB is limited to a maximum of 1000MB, so any titleset that is larger than this will have multiple VOBs.
In short, you have a large, complicated disk, but it is completely normal.Read my blog here.

How are you burning the files?
Are you burning it as a data dvd? If so, that might explain why you are having problems.Believing yourself to be secure only takes one cracker to dispel your belief.
