    Whenever i open a prog that sorts out bad sectors n stuff like easy recovery or whatever.
    Before doing so it would scan all things like drives like anayalyse them and when it gets to analysing the dvd writer or the floppy drive the app just closes :S

    How do i sort this out?

    Easy Recovery should work on hard drives, floppy disks and the like, but it doesn't work on CDs or DVDs, AFAIK.
