At first, I was going to joke around, but then, I realize that
something seems to be acting weird'ly at the forum index page.

I'm going to assume that this is on account of the "Testing new server"
and the issue I'm about to speak on, are one of those bugs ?

Anyways..

Ok. You know when you are at the forum index page.. ie,

** https://forum.videohelp.com/

Then, you go to any of the links, read, then Alt+Crsr_Back to
get back to the forum index page.

Well, when I do this, the page seems to go through a REFRESH mode.
I see my status like (using Opera) start from 00:01 and continues
counting, waiting to download new page. But, nothing happens.
It just counts and counts and counts.

I am hoping that you are not having this page (or any) refresh in
auto mode or when we back out of a current page. This would not
be such a good idea because there are many times when I see a bunch
of topics I'd like to click on and view (in a certain order) but
if you refresh the page, that topic might no longer be in view. And,
I (or others) may never see that topic or will forget it.

Well, that's been one aspect of a bug I am reporting.

Happened to me too at first. It may have been an issue of the local host file not matching the changed DNS

sorry for the forum downtime...just some software firewall problems.

The forum went down for me last night just before I went to bed. That's probably when you switched servers. Was busy all day today and didn't have a chance to check in until about 10 minutes ago where I find that the forum was still down. I got quite concerned there for a few minutes.

what problems? seems to pause up every once in a while. Otherwise seems fine.

Also my works connection sucks so it might just be me and not the server at all.

I've never seen it that high. Is that the record so far ?

oh yea.. the other issue that I described earlier here seems to have been
resolved. I don't see any more refreshing etc.

500 are visiting the tools page...
