I recently authored my VCD home video (30 minutes) with chapters (using entrypoints). It works fine. I just had this question. Is it possible on a VCD that the control returns to a menu after the chapter is complete. Hope the following makes it clear.
-Track1-- --------------------Track2--------------------
Menu -> Chap 1-----Chap2------Chap3-------Chap4-------
I select Chap1 from Menu, after playing Chap1 instead of continuing along the track with Chap2,Chap3 it should return to the Menu.
Of course I can achieve this by cutting the video into multiple tracks.
-Track1-- --Track2-- --Track3-- --Track4-- --Track5--
Menu Chap1--- Chap2 Chap3 Chap4
But is it possible on VCD with only one track and entrypoints.
Is there a work around?
Thanks

Hi,
I just found a way to possibly do this on http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/chapters.html.
It could be done using <timeout> tag in the xml and running vcdxbuild. Shall try this out.
Thanks to those who read and considered replying. -
Not "possibly do this" but "definitely do this".
Good luck.
Regards.
