i have a video file that required me to connect to the net and download the license everytime i try to play it. checking on the property revealed that the license is not backable. is there anyway to bypass this???

Technically, yes, but its not a easy method. I assume you're talking about wmv video files with DRM restrictions. Just do a google search.

on top of it all, you DEFINATELY need rights to play the thing back right off the bat.....also, since it's DRM'ed....i'm not entirely sure we are allowed to discuss it here........unless your talking specifically of ONE dvd.....that being terminator 2 with the HD WMV version of it on the dvd......

I am facing a similar problem but with a slight variation.I have backed up the licence but still iam being asked for it everytime i wish to play it on the windows media player.How can i avoid this imbroglio?
