Im making a dvd but i need this one file thats on my friends Mac. Its an mov file that says it's 11GB but when I load it onto his editing program it says its 5.6GB. Thats not the problem. I had to cut the clip into 3 parts to fit on dvds so i can tranfer it to my computer. I did that and trie to keep it as an mov file but it was changd to a dv file instead. I burnt the new 3 small clips and transfered them to my PC but they dont work on my programs. I run Premier and also Vegas. Premier loads the video (but its choppy) with a snow sound and Vegas wont accept the file.

I need this clip to finish my dvd what do you reccomend I do?

    Thank you,

    Tahjay

Edit and encode on the MAC, so the files you bring across are ready just to put into your authoring program ?
