i have mpeg files on my hardrive. i can burn them to a dvd disk but they won't play on the dvd player.
can you tell me what i have to do to the mpeg files. what do i need to get or buy? do i have to code them?

Some DVD machines will play mpegs directly but for most you need to create a DVD disk from your mpeg by "Authoring."
TDA is a good tool for that, it will take your mpeg and create menus and chapters and burn it to disk. If your mpeg is not DVD compatible it will give you an error message."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
