  1. Can someone tell me the best settings for avi to (S)VCD conversion???
    I use Tmpgenc.

    The standard settings of the pal of ntsc(film) templates of TMPGenc are for most ppl already the best settings you can get.. maybe you should turn the encoding quality on 'highest quality' instead of 'normal' but if you use the templates you will already be amazed of the results. Try to keep ntsc to ntsc and pal to pal because of frame de-/increasement which has unpredictable side-effects.

    From DV-avi to MPG, I think its MPG2 SVCD template is good with the bitrate setting. Changing the quality too 100% and the motion search to high, the quality is close to the DV-avi when playing on TV.

  5. And what about source aspect ratio???
    I always put it on 4:3Display.
    I already tried 1:1(VGA) but the Quality was really Bad.

    See,I only need the settings 4 the best VCD Quality but i do not want to take more than 2 700MB/80Min CD-R for around 90 Min of a Movie.
