I have a home video which i encoded at 8000kbps with standard LPCM audio and its an .mpg file. I would like to burn this video w/chapters and menu into standard compliant DVD. I would like to do this on the cheap, ie free, and burn it because i tried this on ULead Video Studio and the audio was out of sync. I did this when i did SVCD but i would like to do DVD but am afraid of the time waste. Thank You and Happy Holidays!

If it's DVD compliant, (See 'What is' DVD to the left. <<<) you should be able to author and burn it. You can use a trial version of TMPGEnc DVD Author or there are some freeware ones like dvdauthor in 'Tools'. After you author it, you can play the VOBs to see if it's still in sync before you burn it.
