  1. hi, does anyone know how can i compress a RM or RMVB file down (ex:300-->150mb) and adding the sub into it as well

    How about Real Producer? If you use such a proprietary format as RM, your choices are limited. Or go to the source of it all, http://www.real.com/. As far as subs, you will have to check there.

    The common way you compress any video file is to lower the bitrate. But lower bitrate=Lower quality. And when you re-encode it you lose quality also. But give it a try. What quality lose you can tolerate is up to you.

    As RM is already a highly compacted format, I imagine a fair amount of quality lose if you manage to make it smaller.

    Here's some guides for RM to AVI. EO Video is pay, but the others are freeware. I've used EO, but not for that conversion. I wouldn't convert it back to RM unless you really have to. Xvid is probably a better choice or even WMV if you need a small filesize.
