PC Magazine had an interesting article titled, "From Video to DVD" (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1892657,00.asp) where they used a JVC SR-MV40U with what they said were great results. I found the SR-MV40U at G & G Technologies for $400 (http://www.ggvideo.com/jvc_srmv40.htm). It's a professional level deck and apparently has two tuners and can record two different programs to S-VHS and DVD simultaneously.
Looks very intriguing. Anybody know anything about this deck or have any comments?
Tim
