    i have pal avi's i need converted which program is best for that?

    oh yea and whats the difference btween video clip and movie clip? how do i get to show the extensions on my files i forget

    Now, if you mean convert to DVD, do the above and instead of saving a new file, frameserve to MPEG encoder.

    Another method is to encode a PAL .avi to NTSC resolution M2V, run DGPulldown, convert audio separately with ffmpegGUI, then author as usual. Again, if DVD is the objective.

    There are quite a few ways to do that, here's a few.

    If you look to the left for 'Convert', that's where I found them.

    Movie clip or video clip, same thing, just a different name.

    In Windows, open any folder, Tools>Folder Options>View; Uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types.'
