    Hello,

Is there a simple way to add opening credits when authoring a DVD?
Basically what I want to do is have 1 page of credits appear on the screen for a few seconds before the DVD goes to the main menu.
Is there a way to do this with TMPGenc DVD author or ULead DVD movie Factory? These are the programs that I use to author my dvd's.

    Thanks,
    gammer

    add the credit clip.
add the main movie as the other track. (click add new track when adding new mpg clips).
set the firstplay to play the first track.

search for firstplay for more information.

    Perfect, thanks Baldrick.

Now, what is the best way to create the intro clip?

Can it be created from a jpeg and converted into a moving jpeg somehow?

    Thanks again,

  4. Hi gammer....

I do my intros by creating a mpeg using either Mpeg Video Wizzard (by Womble) or Showbiz (by Arcsoft). Then import it into your fav autoring program (I use Dvd Lab .... love it!) and then set it as your first play movietitle. You can even get creative and add some cool transition effects: i.e. I created a stream consisting a simple text intro then added a fade-in effect that leads into a slideshow if you will featuring all of my additional dvd featurers. Get really creative and and some background music!

I found how to make credits with Windows Movie Maker. You can do some pretty neat things.
It does, however, save the file in WMV format. But you can drop this into TMPGEnc and convert it to mpeg.
Best part of all is its free!

Thanks again for all the help,
    gammer
