All right... I read the how to's on this, but AVI-Mux GUI seems to corrupt the video. I have dual audio and dual subtitle .OGM and .MKV files that I would like to demux, convert to AVI, and mux the extra audio and subtitles in so that I may burn a bi-lingual DVD with optional subs.

Here's what I use for DVD Authoring: NeroVision Express SE

I have the following tools to use for the muxing and conversion process:

    MEncoder
    VirtualDub Mod
    dBpowerAMP MC
    AVI-Mux GUI

Like I said, everything runs smoothly. I can demux everything into separate files. The problem is that when I mux it with AVI-Mux GUI the file becomes a corrupted AVI. If someone has the time to give me step-by-step instructions (incase I am in fact doing something wrong), it would be much obliged (or if you would recommend a better method).

    Thanks again.

why mux to avi? convert to dvd with something else than nerovision cause it doesn't support any bilingual audio and optional subs like avi2dvd.

or do you just want avi?

and this is not just authoring so use the general forum. moving you.

Well I tried using avi2dvd once, but I suppose I was too impatient and the menu editor really kind of turned me off to it. It's kind of difficult and the way it blinks when you click to move things is rather annoying.

I suppose I'm just being too picky. If there's a how-to on using that, please link it and I'll definitely check into it. Thanks.
