    Hi,

This is my first post, so please be kind!

I have two dvd's that are ripped to my hard drive, so they are in VIDEO_TS folders. I would like to merge the .VOB files to make a single dvd that plays seamlessly (the 2 dvd's are from a concert, and the filmer put the show on 2 dvd's, even though the show will easily fit on one.). How can I do this? Not to be a pain, but is there a step by step guide? I'd love to do a menu and completely reauthor, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. If someone can at least help me with the .VOB merge, I'd be most grateful.

    -all the best!

Many thanks. I took a look and can't seem to find how to merge the .VOB's. I can add them in "reauthor mode" in DVD Shrink, but it burns the dvd with 2 separate titles. I want to be able to merge the .VOB's and have a single title. Is it possible? Am I just missing something? Many, many thanks for your help. It is much appreciated!

Why not try Vob2mpg for each file and then merge together if thats what you really want. Personally i would simply reauthor both files in TDA and then output.

    And for the OP:

TMPGEnc DVD Author. Guides are to the left. Create one track, Add DVD Video, point to disc 1's VIDEO_TS folder. Add DVD Video, point to disc 2's VIDEO_TS folder. You may experience a slight pause at the join, but this should be rectified by removing the chapter stop that is created at the beginning of the 2nd disc. Once again, guides are to the left.
    If in doubt, Google it.
