  1. Didn't find my DVD player in the compatibility list so I though of asking here... I sent the specs so it'll be added to the list.

I got this Zenith DVD2381 player and was told it did play VCD's, MP3's,...bla bla bla...

Well, it does all that, even on CDR's, except for VCD's. I have one VCD I bought from an e-store which does work fine on the player. But all the ones I burnt myself don't. Those are VCD's I downloaded from the NET and they play fine on my comp with PowerDVD. I use Nero5.1 with default settings at 4x. But that version doesn't have a VCD choice when I start a new CD, I know that 5.5 or so does have that choice.

Anybody has the magical receipe for burning VCD's so they work fine on a Zenith DVD2381 ?

Or could I find out what's so special about the one I have that make it work ?

    Thanks

  2. Ok, ok... I got it to work. Sorry for any inconvenience... I tried Nero 5.5.6.4 with KODAK CD-R Ultima 80 700Mb (gold) disk and it played fine. I also tried FUJIFILM CD-R 80min700MB (aqua) and it worked too.

So I'm now pleased that my Zenith DVD player does play VCD's on CDR's...

Now what about the near 40 VCD's I already have which don't work? Am I going to re-burn them? Don't think so
