    I'm converting a file with the above specs to DVD format, to be played on my PAL dvd player - will it work?

    Also, will the AC3 surround sound be available on the DVD? Thanks

    Right, scratch the last question, because it does work!

    However, I'm having some trouble with the aspect ratio. The source file is 656x272, which I think is 2.35:1… when I burn this, though, it plays squashed on my TV. I tried 16:9, but that didn't work either, so I've switched to 2.35:1 (keep height), which seems to equate to 640x272. Will this fix my problems?
