I'm a newbie, but in the past, I've successfully created mix DVDs composed of clips that are less than 10 minutes in length.
I've been trying to copy a couple of 30-minute programs to DVD, and when I extract with DVD Decrypter, I get 2 or more M2V files but only one AC3. Then when I try to burn the DVD, the audio gets applied to all clips, so only one is in sync. In File mode, DVD Decrypter tells me these original files are composed of more than one VOB file, though in IFO mode, DVD Decrypter shows only one chapter.
The original DVDs are from a stand-alone machine, and I burn DVDs with Sonic DigitalMedia LE.
Any advice is appreciated.

I think if you set file-splitting to none (Options > Settings), then you should get just the one M2V file to go with your one AC3 file. I'm pretty sure that the default setting is 1 GB, so it is creating a new M2V every time it reaches 1 GB. Audio in comparison is far smaller, especially if it's AC3.
IMHO you should be doing this in IFO mode.If in doubt, Google it.
